APRIL 4 to 6 - Our GRAND OPENING weekend with our Annual Kite Flying In Our Pasture Spring Extravaganza. Bring the kids and come fly a kite Saturday or Sunday afternoon. We'll have a professional kite maker on hand - or bring your own kite. WHAS-TV's REED YADON will be here Saturday morning from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. to broadcast live. Reed will be joined by several local artists and performers talking about their crafts.

APRIL 24 - EVEN MORE BLARNEY - Never those to hold back on fun, Hidden Hill lets it all hang out April 24 with its annual Irish Tea Fund Raiser sponsored by the Irish Society of Kentuckiana. If you're Irish - or just want to be - come out that night for some Irish hospitality, Irish music and find out how to join the society. Wear green - and be prepared to see more.

APRIL 26 - ASTRONOMY NIGHT. Come watch the stars come out at Hidden Hill. About 20 members of the Louisville Astronomical Society will be here at dusk to point their powerful telescopes to the sky. Public invited. No charge. Al;l fun. Special "Star Related" plants will be on sale. Hot dogs and mushroom toasting around the fire.

MAY 17 - MOVIE NIGHT. Just like the Good Ol' Days, The Hidden Hill Gang will hang a screen from the barn and show a classic movie outdoors. Popcorn and drinks available at greatly reduced rates. Bring your own lawn chair - and bug spray. We haven't picked the movie yet; all suggestions welcome.

JULY 12 - WINE TASTING and JAZZ in the GARDEN - This one will really be fun. The award-winning wine makers from Huber's Orchard & Winery in Starlight, Indiana will be at Hidden Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. to offer wine tasting - and wine. In addition we're adding some great food and a jazz ensemble or two to the summer evening - all of it followed by a special candlelight tour of Hidden Hill. It doesn't get any better than that.

SEPT. 6 - THIRD ANNUAL BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL - One of our premier events returns on Saturday, Sept. 6, will a full day of Bluegrass music, great buffalo barbecue and special Slow Cooked Food- along with demonstrations, vendors and events. More than 500 people joined us last year. ALL bluegrass jammers are welcome. Please. Y'all come.

SEPTEMBER 20 - MOVIE NIGHT II - If you couldn't make the first movie-against-the-barn we're going to do it again. Same deal; popcorn and drinks at reduced rates. Bring your lawn chair - and bug spray. We want your suggestions for the movie.
